Dr. Carlos Botelho, MI Council academic member and Associate Professor at the University of Lisbon, will be speaking at the British Academy of Management’s 2018, annual conference on his paper entitled “Looking beyond HRM practices – the influence of strategic HRM alignment on organizational performance: An HRM Whole System view.”

Dr. Botelho’s study includes the testing of a list of characteristics from MI’s foundational, ’10 Pillars’ framework. Among the many findings from this study is evidence to support the importance of “HRM System Maturity (HRSM)”. This is a seminal paper which introduces BAM members to MI’s revolutionary, whole system management, methodology for the first time.

The 2018 BAM Conference is being held in the Bristol Business School at the University of the West of England from 4th to 6th September 2018.
